Project Title: Usability Engineering project – Redesigning of Singapore Map App

  • Comparative analysis was done on the Singapore Map with Gaode and Google maps.

  • Semi-structured interview was conducted to gather the requirements of the users.

  • High fidelity prototype was developed using Figma based on the hierarchical task analysis.

  • Evaluating the new version of Singapore Map app using the 10 heuristics principles.

Project Title: Data Extraction project - Web Scraping on IMDB website

  • Extracted data from the IMDB website using web scraping tool- Beautiful Soup.

  • Observed the characteristics of the 1000 movies like rating, votes, genre, etc.

  • Their characteristics were analysed using the python codes.

  • Analyzed data was visualized using word cloud.

Mini-Project Title: Infographics – Dengue in Singapore

  • Infographics was developed using Microsoft power point tool and the Element of design theory. Infographics gives the clear information on dengue cases affected in Singapore in recent years.

Final Year Project Title: User-Oriented image retrieval system based on Interactive genetic algorithm

  • Content based image retrieval system uses interactive genetic algorithm to retrieve the exact image from the large image database based on the user query.

  • Comparing the two images in content-based image retrieval is finding the similarity distance measure of the two images like color, shape and texture etc.

  • Using Dotnet a web application was developed to search the user query image from the database and provide a relevant image with the similarity measures.

  • A graph was developed using C# for the query image and retrieved image.
